NaBloPoMo January 2015

Well, of course on the first day of the New Year, it is a given you must talk about resolutions; right? You have to vow to lose weight, eat healthier, be more frugal, drink more water, eat less sugar; right? Wrong! Sorry to be a party pooper, but I do not make resolutions. Never have. I feel like every year, I grow and I change; I shed people, I break habits (create some new ones), and I start new things. I create something new (hopefully several different new somethings throughout the year).

See, I've never been one to ask for a whole lot or beg for opportunities; especially in 2014! So I am carrying this forward in 2015 and for years to come. Every person, artist, blogger, entrepreneur, MUSICpreneur, should really develop this way of thought. My grandfather taught my Dad, who taught me and my siblings, if you want to learn anything, its resting quietly in a book. Now, more than ever before, ANYthing is accessible since we have arrived in the best of the information age. With the good people at Google working tirelessly in the Valley and great things like UnCollege, you can learn everything about everything. I personally pay visits often to my local Half Price Books, the Udemy and EdX sites, and not to mention (in case you didn't already know from my social media pages), I currently attend Baker University for another go at a Bachelor's (this time in Organizational Leadership).

So I guess in closing, again, I don't make resolutions. Not to say you shouldn't. I am the try anything advocate...This post was even birthed out pf procrastination to be honest - so do what you gotta do to get going! Nevertheless. Use the sites above to get a lil' more education. Heck you might even get it for free! Thank me later or do it below in the comments...lol.

What will you start doing or continue doing this year? Let me know below.
