(born November 8, 1990) better known by his stage name KNEW ERA, is an American rapper born in SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA] .  Knew Era was born 1990 in San Diego, California, where he lived for the first 6 years of his life. Growing up, he was consumed by playing football and rapping, describing them as his two favorite childhood hobbies.In 1996, Knew Era Re located with his parents and two older brothers and older sister to Newark in New Jersey.
Knew Era Attended Cicely Tyson School of Performing Arts where he learned how to play the harp and later transferred to graduate from West Side High School in 2008.

Knew Era is an aficionado of men high fashion, particularly designer wear from  Calvin Klein, Gucci, D Nine Reserve and True Religion.

2008–2011: MUSIC CAREER

In 2008, along with his cousin, Chad Bryant, Knew Era created a series of street-flavored visuals called 'Brick City Uncensored' after drawing inspiration from the 'Smack' DVD series. Under the name Re Bannon he used YouTube as a means of showcasing his talent as an underground artist. To gain a broader fan base, Knew Era incorporated interviews with signed artists, as well as some up and comers. The first edition in the series included Dot Com alongside Knew Era himself among others. What started out as simply a medium for developing an audience quickly and hasn't stopped since.

In 2009, Knew Era met manger Latiem Welton who is partial responsible for the name change Re Bannon to Knew Era and quickly started to work closely along side of him. He then begin working on his first solo project " The Break Out' Hosted by DJ New Era which was released in 2010 on Dat Piff.In 2011 he met Shamoan Artis who is another artist as well as graphic designer them two along side of latiem and Chad Bryant formed a music corporation titled DOP3 KRU Inc. 

2011–present: DOP3 KRU INC, and debut album

In December 2011, Knew Era along side others incorporated DOP3 KRU and quickly started working on his Mix Tape "Behind The Music" which was released on Dat Piff On July 23rd. After success on the Mix Tape which was featured n numerous blog sites he signed a sponsoring deal with Limitless clothing Factory with a show to follow up the celebration on November 6th at "The Vibe" in Riverside California .. At this event It was announced that his EP 4 Laps would be released on March 23rd, 2013, FOLLOWED BY HIS DEBUT LP "3RDEYE" (ORDER OF OPERATION WHICH IS AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE NOW.


According to Knew Era, the rappers Mos Def, MF DOOM,Common and Curren$y were among the hip hop artists that he listened to while growing up. He also considers himself a general music lover,and is an admirer of the work of singers Amy Winehouse and Adele.

Ava Bella is a singer, songwriter, and author who has spent the last 3 years playing dates around the US alongside international acts like Morris Day & The Time, Estelle, and Luke James, Hip Hop artists like icon Masta Ace, DJ Marco Polo, The Knux, and GLC, as well as mentors @KCPL and James Christos(both of The Anarchy Movement). She's also acted as a consultant to indie and unsigned artists and labels as CEO and founder of Assilem Music & Media Group, an advocate for minority female business owners as CEO and founder of Majestic Refuge Nonprofit, and self-proclaimed fashionista as owner of The K&A Boutique.
